Position Overview
The inside sales team qualifies, develops and closes leads from Edulastic’s website and other sources. Using a collaborative, consultative sales process, Business Development Managers educate teachers and school administrators about the benefits of Edulastic, respond to requests for proposal, represent the company at trade shows and other events, and continually support customers through the sales, implementation and renewal journey.
What You’ll Do:
Identify, qualify, nurture and close new sales opportunities via warm calling, email and social media.
Build and expand customer relationships post-sale to increase cross-sell and upsell opportunities, renewals and referrals.
Set up and deliver software demonstrations, sales presentations and proposals.
Identify and respond to requests for proposal from school districts.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years experience in B2B and SaaS sales. Experience in education or edtech preferred.
Demonstrated success in meeting monthly outbound and sales targets.
Strong communication, relationship building and problem-solving skills, as demonstrated in previous customer-facing roles.
Desire and ability to work in a startup environment: flexible, highly collaborative, always interested in learning, willingness to self-educate, try new ideas and cut things that aren’t working.
